55 Cancri c
55 Cancri c is an ice giant exoplanet that orbits a G-type star, like the Sun. It has a mass 0.17 x that of Jupiter, takes 44.42 days to complete one orbit of its star, and is 0.241 AU from its star. Its discovery was announced in October 2004. In 2015, the public voted to give it the name "Brahe," which was approved by the International Astronomical Union, after the Danish astronomer and nobleman. The other planets in the system are also named for famous astronomers and telescope inventors of the Renaissance.
