To be eligible, postdocs and graduate students affiliated with a US institution must submit an application by 5 p.m. PST April 6, 2018 to be considered for this travel support. The NASA ExoPAG Executive Committee will make the selections. We expect to select up to three students for travel support.

Reimbursable travel expenses may consist of roundtrip airfare, lodging, car rental, per diem and workshop registration based on approved rates by the JPL Travel Rules.

Note: Postdocs and graduate students who are depending on travel support should wait until they have been notified of their selection prior to making travel arrangements or paying registration fees. Failure to comply with this requirement may prohibit reimbursement. Selected postdocs and graduate students will be notified and requested to go through the JPL Exoplanet Exploration Program for ALL travel reservations. Once selected, the Exoplanet Travel Bureau will contact you to arrange your travel.


  • Postdocs and graduate students must be affiliated with a U.S. institution;
  • Graduate students must be enrolled at a university at the time of the conference or the semester immediately before the conference (if during break);
  • Applicants must submit an abstract for presentation at the conference.
